【Turquoise Kebab】〜高松ゲストハウスTraditional Apartment〜
If you want to have a good quick meal with the friendliest owner, then this is the perfect place to eat lunch or order take-away. The owner speaks perfect English, and is always interesting to hear about where you are from, and what brings you to Japan.
The owner is from Turkey, and has been in Japan for 6 years now, and will happily share the knowledge he has gathered in this time.
The food here is really good and for only 500yen, you can get a delicious kebab.
If you can’t eat gluten, they also have a gluten-free option, where you’ll get the kebab meat, cabbage, and rice in a bowl instead of a pita bread or tortilla.
I got a durum kebab, which was so delicious. I also got some turkish tea, while chatting with the owner. It was so a very rainy day, when I went there to buy dinner, so I was the only one in the store at that point.
I got the feeling that most people order take-away, as it’s not a super big shop, but it’s quite cozy.
My friend got the normal pita kebab, and he really loved it!
You’ll also be able to buy turkish ice cream and other imported goods, if you are more interested in Turkish foods.
You can find this shop near the shopping street, and especially close to a really good bakery called retro bakery.
Address: 5-1 Minamishinmachi, Takamatsu, Kagawa 760-0051
Hours: The hours vary a lot from day to day, so I suggest looking the place up on google to make sure they are open.
