Ride a bicycle toward Utazu after worshiping at emperor temple

It’s been raining a little..

It takes me about 30 min from Emperor Temple. It was relatively close.

Today, the journey up to this point was a long one, about 40km, but from the last reflection, I realized that gloves are a necessary item, and the gloves I bought from Amazon were comfortable and reduced fatigue.

Gosho Temple（Quoted from HP below）

It is located on a hill at the foot of Mt. Aono, south of Utazu Town, and overlooks the seaside Utazu Town and Seto Ohashi Bridge from the precincts.
It was founded by Gyoki Bosatsu in the Nara period (early 8th century, Jinki 2nd year (725)) and was called Fo Guang Shan Dojoji Temple. The principal image of Amida Nyorai is said to be the work of Gyoki.
Later, in the 6th year of Konin (815), when he was 42 years old, Kobo Ambassador visited this area and made a vow to eradicate the evil by carving his own statue of Buddha. After that, in 1288, the founder of Ji-shu, Ippen Shonin, added the tradition of the Pure Land Yukihomon, and the two religions of Mantra and Nembutsu were introduced. The cathedral was burned down by the fire of the former turtle, Tensho.
Entering the Edo period, it was revived by the lord of the Takamatsu domain, Yorishige Matsudaira. At that time, he decided to hold the Buddhist sect together with the Shingon sect in memory of Ippen Shonin, and changed the temple name to 78th “Gosho-ji”. It is the only temple in Shikoku Pilgrimage that spans both the Shingon sect and the Ji sect.
