【staff blog】From Kitahama to Yashima Mt.

Hello, everyone. This is Yuki, a volunteer staff at Traditional Apartment.
The other day, I went to Yashima with M-chan, who I made friends with at an izakaya on my first day in Takamatsu.
She is the same age as me and is from the Kanto area, so we hit it off right away and became friends☺.

First, we met up at Umie in Kitahama Alley, which M-chan recommended, and had lunch together.

Umie is a cafe renovated from an old warehouse, and the interior and exterior are very stylish.
You can see the Seto Inland Sea from the counter seats.

We had an instagrammable coconut curry!

After that, we took a train from Takamatsu Station to Yashima Station, and then took a shuttle bus to the top of the mountain.
Yashima is famous for its spectacular view of the Seto Inland Sea from the top of the mountain, and the scenery was truly breathtaking!

I imagined how beautiful the sunset would be from here, but the last shuttle bus left at 4:50, so I had no choice but to leave Yashima without seeing the sunset.

Soon my vacation in Takamatsu will come to an end.
Over the past two weeks, I have met many people, been exposed to many different values, and have learned a lot. People are very close and you can easily get to know anyone here.
Delicious food, a spectacular view of the Seto Inland Sea and warm people, these are the charms of Kagawa Prefecture!
I will definitely come back here again someday.
Good-bye, until we meet again(^_^)/~
