Hello!

My name is Katrine, and I have just started working here at Traditional Apartment. I am a 21 years old girl from Denmark, who is in Japan on a working holiday visa.
I decided to come to Takamatsu, because of the book “Kafka on the Shore” writing by Haruki Murakami, which takes place in this city.
I have always loved traveling and have done so from a very young age, so traveling to Japan after high school seemed like a natural choice for me, as I have always have found Japan and their culture really interesting.

I have previously worked on Sado in Niigata prefecture, which is a little Island, with only 50,000 people living on the Island. So coming to Takamatsu, it seemed like a very big city to me, but I later learned that Kagawa prefecture is actually the smallest prefecture in all of Japan.

I have worked here for 1 week so far, I have really been loving it! I can only recommend anybody considering coming to Takamatsu! There is so much to see here and do here! If you are more of a nature person, they are plenty of nature parks, and if you are more of a city person, there is also plenty of that!
