Sushi adventure

At one of the lesser visited side streets of the big shopping street, you’ll can find a little running sushi place. As soon as you enter you are greeted with the standard “Irrashaimase” from the whole staff, and are shown to a table, where you’ll find everything you need: matcha powder, soy sauce, wasabi, etc. You’ll have a little tablet at the tablet, where you’ll be able to order all the sushi you can eat. They have a good varity of sushi, and if you are not that fond of fish or raw fish, they also have sushi with ham, meat, pickled vegetables, corn, and many more. These are just as delicous as the sushi with the fish, and I can recommend trying a piece of these (many of them are a 100yen!)
They also have an a-la-carte menu with things like miso soup, takoyaki(octopus balls), kaarage(fried chicken), and even fries.

Their sushi is quite cheap, and I got more than full for just 800yen.

Here are some of the sushi we tried.

The fatty tuna for 300yen, is a little expensive, but it’s totally worth its price! I think it’s one of the best pieces of sushi I have tried. It has so much flavour and the fish pratically melts in your mouth as you eat it. together with the wasabi and soy sauce you get an explosion of flavours in your mouth. Just writing about it, makes me want to eat it again.

Maki roll with eel and cucumber

This is the table, where you can see the tablet you order sushi from and the tap with hot water to make matcha tea.

A good advice is to look at the menu in Japanese, or at least switch to japanese when you order, as the Japanese menu has more options as it gets updated more frequently, and sometimes if you press at a sushi piece in english, it will show the wrong sushi, cause in the Japanese menu it’s a different piece that’s at the same place.

It’s also possible to order take-out if you would rather eat at home. Wasabi and soy sauce do cost a bit extra though, and you’ll only be able to order in Japanese, but if you have google translate on your phone or another dictionary, it shouldn’t be a problem.
