【Nagasaki no hana (長崎ノ鼻)】

At the tip of Yashima you’ll be able to find some cute hidden beaches, a little shrine and a piece of history that not many people know about.

On the picture here, you’ll be able to read a little bit of that history.

The way there down to the place is like going through a tunnel to another place. All around you there is crickets, and green trees. It’s so magical riding or walking through there. It’s also possible to go there with a car.

On the way there, you’ll have to go a little bit up the mountain. It was way easier for me than some of the other places I have went, and I didn’t even have to pull my bike up the mountain!

When you arrive you’ll be able to see a map of the area, and what there is to explore, as well as these stairs, which lead to the beach.

If the weather had been better I would definitely have explored more of the area. Sadly it  began raining 30min after I arrived, so it was only a short time I was there.

When I was there, there was both a wedding shooting happening and an older couple fishing. But other than that I had the whole thing to myself. The area is so huge, and makes it the perfect places to eat your lunch.

I had brought an Onigiri, which I ate, while I enjoyed the view. You’ll be able to see Takamatsu, sunport and Megijima, from a side that isn’t seen too often, as most of the things there are to see is in the western direction.

If I had a car, I would probably have stayed here to watch the sunset. I spoke with some of the locals, and they said that the sunset from here, was stunning. Maybe next time I’ll be able to see that, but if you have a car, I’ll definitely recommend it!

If you don’t have a car, I probably wouldn’t as the way over there is not very safe to drive on at night, as there are no street lights, wild animals, and sometimes holes in the road, which can be hard to see.

Here you’ll be able to see the location.

Thanks for reading!
